Sculptor Patrick Akton was born in Green-Kaunti, the State of Iowa, the USA, and grew on a farm near Rippi. Patrick since the childhood liked to make. When the father bought to it a bicycle, in two weeks in it there was an engine from a lawn-mower. In a yard of their house, on a tree Patrick built the house with windows and heating. And still it found somehow time in the field thrown old pickup of Ford and returned the car to a normal state. And in 1977 it started to experiment matches. For it sculptures from matches remain a simple hobby which brought it much more popularity, than its official work in consulate.
