Tale, 10 German students and 10 Albanians are working on a very interesting tourist project. Conversion of bunkers in "hotels" that will provide space for up to 8 people. The German daily Der Spiegel has paid attention to this project, which means that the former Communist ruler of Albania, Enver Hoxha was built around 750 thousand dwellings "Eskimo", bunkers built across the country in the 1970s and 1980s.
Building bunkers, says Der Spiegel, came from the fear that was the dictator of a foreign conqueror. He built these bunkers to protect the population. Bunkers, writes further, reflecting an unparalleled paranoia dictator.
At the moment the plan is to update a single bunker, but this may change soon. Is an Albanian student studying in Germany, which this project will protect her diploma titled "Bunkerkunft" customized "Unterkunft" in English would be translated, "accommodation". It is posing a very interesting way to attract tourists, turning bunkers attractive places for foreign visitors and Albanian Panorama broadcasts.
Students involved in the project say that staying a night in the "bunker" will not cost more than 8 euros per person. They say the bunkers back in hotels should be under local administration.
